I don't know about other schools but Bucknell U is really generous to Vietnamese students.

Bucknell isn't generous at all. To qualify for admission, your family have to contribute at least 12K per year.

Not sure about Chicago but it seems that you list all stingy schools. And you seem to forget LAC's.

Vanderbilt, students there wear black coats and fancy kaki pants to go watch football games.
Our prayers are always thine, our voices and hearts combine,
To sing thy praise when future days shall bring thy name before us.
When college days are past, as long as life shall last,
Our greatest joy will be to shout the chorus.

Dear Old Wabash, thy loyal sons shall ever love thee,
And o'er thy classic halls, the Scarlet flag shall proudly flash.
Long in our hearts, we'll bear the sweetest mem'ries of thee,
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash!

That's what they said on their website but I know a Vietnamese who got into Bucknell with no family contribution and $2k "tiêu vặt"

There are only 6 schools need-blind to international students: Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Williams, Middlebury and MIT. Stanford may be need-blind soon (or already need-blind). The rest of the schools may say need-blind on their websites but if you ask the correct person (from the admission office), you will know that need-blind policy is not extended to international students.

I guess because he has already known that most LACs are very generous, he just asked 'bout National Uni.
Btw, please give me more info 'bout these LACs (at which very few VNese are studying, as far as i'm concerned): financial aid, chances (to be admitted) for intel....
I did some researches on the Internet but still am very confused.

Skidmore is not generous at all. I got into this school before. Otherewise, it is well known for music and theater department only.

Gettysburg: The supplemental essay is kind of difficult to write. This year, I only submitted the common app but they waitlisted me although I did not submit transcript, LoR,...
Bucknell: accept about 36 International students each year, 8 of whom with full ride. For others, $35,000 is maximum.

Have you ever heard of The Vasar College? Do you have any information about this school ( about its reputation, VNese there and more important, its generosity )? If yes, please share it to me. Thanks in advance.

Vietnamese students seem to "chiếm đóng" most genorous schools and avoid schools that don't like Vietnamese students. So I see that many students go into a same college. That's why I'm afraid those colleges will not take in more Vietnamese. At the same time, some not very popular colleges don't offer full need. So how to find out a college that both still has interest on Vietnamese students and generous?

@kryptonian: Well Cali is famous for its UC system but there are not so many LACs there. I know sis Bao Thu is enrolling in Claremont McKenna Univ (Cali). Unfortunately it's really hard to get in and it requires many essays. Sis Bao Thu graduated from Suffield Academy, which is an elite high school in the US.
@Oanh: Vassar College is a tough school (I got rejected). There is only 1 Vnmese student there: sis Duong (who graduated from a Singapore high school). Vassar College is famous and quite generous(sis Duong said the min contribution should be 4K/year)

@quynhchi: You'll have to try. About your prob, Lafayette this year admits 4 students but only 3 enroll, the same to other colleges. So there is no reason for them not to accept Vnmese students next year. Besides, Vnmese, Chinese, UK...students are all categorized as international students
