I went through the Princeton interview... haha... It's so cool... I got a girl, class of 2000... She's really young and friendly and pretty and *did I say great body?* ... I had no problem keeping eye-contact with her (EYEs-TO-EYEs not EYEs-TO-something-else)... Her way of talking keep things easy so I'm kinda do things very naturally... Hand-gestures, relaxing pace... It's pretty cool that we share the same view regarding Iraq War (now you know how far we went)... Other questions are pretty common and available on internet... The best thing is that she bought me 2 books at the end of the session cuz I told her I really love reading Dune (6 books) by Frank Herbert but I couldn't find the last two books...

Ok... now it's the Khang's praising part... Basically, I'm so grateful to have a senior like him... Before he went to Princeton, he gave me a very detail note + lecture of his research regarding US university... But he didn't have any obligation to do it... I guess he's just purely kind... My form-teacher (who is also his form-teacher) always praise him in class (surprisingly more than other guys who went to Harvard and MIT and other big fat schools)... The most significant thing she said was that "Khang is very street smart"... He knows what to do, who to ask to write his testimonials and work hard for wad he believe in (like skip school to study for SATII haha, xin loi anh Khang)... I think so too... And he's very kind... He sent this real long email (4 pages++) and got it pinned up at the school notice board so that everyone can have the kind of experiences which he spent a lot of time (skipping class) to look for... Basically, he's great... Look out for this guy... He may be the next Paul Allen... He's the type that WILL do business very well...

I remember Heather too. She contacted me after I got in, so I totally missed the interview (which partly supports the hypothesis that interview has little weight)

To testdasi: Đi phỏng vấn như cậu thì hoành tráng thật đấy! Chúc may mắn! Nhưng nếu vì cậu mà chị bị loại khỏi Princeton thì "liệu hồn" đấy! B-)

Cậu "lăng xê" Khang ghê quá. Thế ai là Bill Gates vậy? Không phải là testdasi đấy chứ! :p

Anyway, I absolutely agree with your comments on Khang and Viet. They are really great friends.

Poor me
With Korean and Singapore uni, interview is always a deadly important admission round.

My friends told me that interviews also focus on details in your application. She wrote in her essay about piano, and they spent most of the questions asking her about music.

How do you get emails from schools that inform you about interviews? Is it after you have sent your application, or do you have to take initive and ask them about their visits?

Thanks so much.
