The VietAbroader Retreat 2009/2010

As the world was slowly entering a brand new year and amidst the hullabaloo of sleepless New York, some members of the core team met up to reflect on past activities of VietAbroader and brainstorm for the future. We regaled ourselves with well-kept tales of the earliest days of VietAbroader, while also engaging in fruitful discussions regarding the next projects. Looking back, we appreciate the countless members (you!) who have put in the effort to help sustain VietAbroader in your very own way, be it volunteering to help out at the VietAbroader Conference or simply stopping by the forum to share your own story. It’s precisely such act of selfless giving and the thought behind it that make us strong. Looking forward, let’s continue to support one another and keep the VA spirit alive!

Thanks everyone for coming! I had much fun, and was super impressed with the current VA team - from leadership initiatives to dancing skills. Btw who has pictures of us pretty much forcing the Korean bartenders into giving us shoju to count down to New Year?
